Axantum Software AB is privately incorporated since 2004 in Sweden. Founder is Svante Seleborg.
Since May 2016, when AxCrypt[2] 2.x was released, all support and development of the AxCrypt 2.x software and the Online Password Manager has been transferred to a separate company, AxCrypt AB.
In July 2020, Axantum and Svante parted ways with AxCrypt AB after differences of opinion on the future development of the software, and the running of the business.
Since then, neither Axantum nor Svante are in no way affiliated with the company AxCrypt AB, or it's products.
We are now providing Xecrets File Ez [Beta] and Xecrets File Command Line [Beta] for free and with additional premium features, based on the open source GPL AxCrypt[2] code originally written by and now repurposed by Svante.
Svante is still at times available for consulting services and contracting within the fields of advanced .NET development, security, cryptography, performance and advanced troubleshooting.
The original AxCrypt 1.7.x software, while not actively maintained, is still available here under it's new name Xecrets File Classic 1.7.x . The name change is confusing, but unfortunately necessary. 1.x versions only run on Windows.
